Multiple weather-related incidents across the region have resulted in injuries and damage to property, Statue authorities said, according to Newsweek. Brazil’s national weather service, INMET, added that a heavy rain alert remains in effect until Dec. 17, warning of possible power disruptions, falling tree branches, flooding and lightning.
